IELTS General Training
This IELTS General Training is for individuals who wish to apply for working overseas or migrate to overseas countries from India.
The IELTS General Training test is for those applying to study below degree level. The test might also be taken for employment training or work experience.
IELTS General Training test scores are required for migration to following countries such as – United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
IELTS General Training test features skills in the English language that an individual will need in the workplace and other social environments.

Reading: The reading section of the IELTS General reading test takes 60 minutes. The first two sections are short factual texts that focus on everyday topics such as job applications, company policies, and so forth. The third section, which is the final, contains a longer and more complicated text.
Writing: IELTS General writing section takes about 60 minutes. You will need to write a 150-word letter and a 250-word essay.
Listening: The Listening section of the IELTS Listening Test requires that you listen to four recordings in which native English speakers speak. You will need to answer several questions after each recording ends. The first two sections will test your knowledge of everyday social context, while the second section will assess your knowledge about educational and training contexts.
Speaking: The speaking portion of the IELTS test takes between 11-14 minutes. This section is a face to face interview. Interviews are structured more as a conversation between the examiners and test takers. This allows you to speak to the examiner on a familiar topic.
IELTS Academic test
For study abroad candidates from India, the IELTS academic test needs to be taken by the study abroad aspirant.
It is suitable for those intending to study in an English-speaking environment University or higher education. The IELTS Academic test is also accepted for professional registration purposes.

Listening: You will need to listen to four recordings where native English speakers speak. Each recording will end with you answering a series questions. The first two sections will test your knowledge of everyday social contexts, while the second section will focus on educational and training contexts.
Reading: This section is 60 minutes long and includes 3 lengthy texts. These texts can be taken from newspapers, magazines, books or journals and are generally generic. These texts are for students to scan and skim in order to find the answers.
Writing: The IELTS writing exam takes 60 minutes. You will need to describe a chart, table or diagram in 150 words for the first task. The second task requires you to write 250 words.
Speaking: The speaking portion of the IELTS test takes between 11-14 minutes. This section is a face to face interview. Interviews are structured more as a conversation between the examiner, test taker and themselves. This allows you to speak to the examiner on a familiar topic.
